Early Years in The Coast Academy is the perfect foundation for young developing children aged between two to the end of Reception Year in Primary School.
The Playgroup class for 2- 3 year olds helps develop early tasks e.g. potty training, eating manners, and coloring, enabling children to enjoy school.
The Kindergarten 1 (K1) for 3-4 year olds, builds children’s learning skills and prepares them to be able to understand educational concepts.
The Reception class for 4-5 year olds enables them to read and write in preparation for Year 1.
Play is at the center of the Early Years curriculum. It is the child’s work. Children develop social, emotional physical, and creative aspects of their characters through this natural activity. Young children are active learners. They need time to explore a variety of first-hand experiences in a well-planned environment.
Children encounter learning opportunities in the outdoor area every day, and additional activities, such as Drama & Music, P.E., and Swimming.
